Description
This is an add-on for p3d v5/v4.4+ which puts lighthouses on the earth.
This is created just for my GA-VFR flight.
But It may also be useful for you.
Best used with for my breakwaters add-on.
The location, type and heading of these lighthouses are based on the OpenStreetMap.
This add-on have two types of lighthouse; White on the land and Red/White stripes on the breakwater.
Both attached an effect that rotate light to visible from far mile away at night.
The object model is made by shakueast / @ShakuEast and effect is made by ranmori / @RanmoriScythe.
This add-on have no breakwaters par se.
If you see a breakwater lighthouse on the sea that you can use with my breakwater add-on for breakwater lighthouse on breakwater.
Install
Copy "ti_lighthouse" folder to "Documents\<Your Prepar3d Version> Add-ons"

Q. Other scenery compatibilities?
A. No matter that.
But If some of the objects overlaps with another add-on, you can delete it from my add-on using the bgl2xml tool.
Identify the file containing the object by the method below, then;
- extract the base xml form the file using bgl2xml,
- delete the specific SceneryObject tag(s) from the xml
- and re-compile it using bglcomp.exe in the p3d SDK.
or just delete the file.
The naming rules for bgl as follows:
"lighthouse_<latitude>,<longitude>.bgl"
the file includes data from <latitude>,<longitude> to <latitude+15>,<longitude+15>.
yes, 15 degrees so exactly 900nm square per file.
Q. That tower is built in the sea!
A. Same here.
Because your(and my) simulator vector data is not the same as OSM.
I am not going to fix it because too many tower in the world!
But if use with my breakwater add-on may reduce this issue by appeared breakwaters.

"3xxxx.bgl"
The number is EPSG code for UTM zone.
you will use this site ( http://spatialreference.org/ ) and search the code to find which files contain the areas.
unfortunately, cvx????.blg may not de-compile. you can just delete that.
